This role is vital to the success of our retail operations. As a Customer Service Associate, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, address inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. You will play a key role in resolving customer concerns quickly and effectively, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction while remaining knowledgeable about product features and maintaining the standard of our store's presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while meeting sales targets.
  • Interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone to identify their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Establishing trustful relationships with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
  • Maintaining organized work order files and product specifications.
  • Selecting products requested by customers from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Mixing and tinting products according to customer specifications when necessary.
  • Restocking shelves and arranging product displays to maximize sales.
  • Ensuring store cleanliness, including equipment upkeep.
  • Assisting with unloading delivery trucks and making deliveries as required.
  • Keeping assigned areas tidy and well-stocked for optimal presentation.
  • Staying informed about all products and discussing available options with customers.
  • Adhering to inventory control practices.
  • Recommending strategies to improve sales performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Legal authorization to work without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possessing a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Proficiency in more than one language, especially Spanish, is advantageous.
