As a key member of our store, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, answer queries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Assist customers both in-person and over the phone, presenting products and services that meet their needs.
- Build trusting relationships with customers, enhancing their experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Maintain organized work order files and formulas.
- Pull and prepare products from the sales floor or warehouse for customers.
- Tint and mix products based on customer specifications when required.
- Stock shelves and create attractive displays to showcase products.
- Regularly clean store equipment and assist in loading/unloading delivery trucks.
- Support delivery tasks as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep assigned areas in stock and visually appealing.
- Stay knowledgeable about available products and options to offer informed recommendations.
- Adhere to inventory control procedures.
- Proactively suggest strategies to boost sales.
Minimum Requirements: - At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with accommodation as necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have a recent performance appraisal rating of at least meets expectations.
- If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all required eLearning courses for your current position.
Preferred Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
- Experience in selling paint or related products.
- Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages, including Spanish.
