As a Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store is impeccably clean. Work collaboratively with the team to provide outstanding customer service and uphold our store's standards.
Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment by performing general cleaning duties.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays, ensuring neatness and order.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy.
• Provide feedback regarding products, inventory losses, and any operational issues.
• Comply with all established company policies and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands: • Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the store.
Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate cash registers efficiently and deliver prompt customer service.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
