Your Day at Lowe's

In this role, you will warmly welcome customers to Lowe's and assist them in finding the right products and services tailored to their home improvement needs. Your responsibilities will include interacting with customers, processing orders, and ensuring that all customer needs are met.

While your main focus will be on customer engagement and service, you may also perform various tasks depending on the department.

Customer Service Associates primarily work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more, matching hiring needs and skillsets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exemplary customer service by welcoming customers and addressing their inquiries.
  • Assist customers in locating and managing merchandise.
  • Restock merchandise to ensure shelves are fully stocked.
  • Process orders accurately to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-train in various store areas to enhance customer service capabilities.
  • Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs.
  • Guide customers throughout the shopping or checkout processes.
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience using a computer for data entry and information management.
  • 6 months of familiarity with retail technologies, such as smart devices.
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and arithmetic tasks.
  • Capability to fulfill duties that may involve prolonged standing or sitting.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of customer service or retail experience.
  • Bi-lingual language skills.
  • Relevant certification in a trade related to the department.
