The Adams County Tax Services Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Customer Service Assessor. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and serve the local community.

Hours and Schedule:

This position is part-time, with a set schedule of 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, totaling 25 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the public with form completion, print property cards, and process cash transactions.
  • Issue property improvement certifications and distribute them to appropriate agencies.
  • Maintain and update resident census information.
  • Process delinquent tax payments and prepare Lien Certificates while resolving any related issues.
  • Assist in daily and monthly account balancing tasks.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and various software programs.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and handle sensitive information with discretion.
