Do you love boba?


FS Drinks makes RTD ready-to-drink bottled tea and juice beverages with lots of happy, bouncy, chewy crystal boba made from konjac, a plant-based prebiotic healthy superfood. We launched at Expo West in 2024 and are available in specialty and natural supermarket retailers along the West Coast.


Our quest is to disrupt the RTD beverage market, to create, grow, and dominate a RTD boba beverage category, with high-quality offerings currently limited to on-premise hand-crafted boba tea shops.


Our products use patent-pending innovation to deliver fresh taste with simple ingredients, without any of the artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors, or preservatives typically found in boba brinks.


Our customers are boba lovers who demand quality and convenience, options that respect their dietary and lifestyle preferences, without compromising on the taste or texture they seek from boba.


We started with the San Francisco Bay Area, are now available throughout the Pacific Northwest, and are now expanding our availability and distribution in Southern California. With this expansion, we are searching for a head brand ambassador to lead, run, and grow our Southern California field marketing department, responsible for engaging potential customers, spurring product trial, and building brand loyalty.


This is an entrepreneurial opportunity, joining our scrappy boba adventure team as a co-owner with significant equity compensation. Half of your time will be planning and organizing remotely at home or wherever you're most productive, with the other half being out in the field executing activations, whether they be retailer in-store demos or booths at community events.


You must not only love boba with bouncy passion but also thrive on interpersonal interactions, listening to and sharing your knowledge, engaging, laughing, and sometimes commiserating with consumers on all things boba.


As we expand retail availability, you will be expected to appropriately scale your work, recruiting, training, and managing subordinate staff to collectively and positively represent our product, brand, and mission, regionally and then nationally.


You will own our brand's customer experience.


Responsibilities


  • Lead in-store demo and sampling, events, and field marketing activations.
  • Liaise with retail and event partners to schedule and execute activations.
  • Manage activation logistics and optimize financial operating costs and ROI.
  • Grow consumer discovery, trial, and repeat purchase of company products.
  • Develop and exemplify a brand-customer experience of lasting, deep affinity.

Qualifications


  • Prepared for an entrepreneurial venture with equity-only compensation to start.
  • Comfortable with working weekends when consumer activations are most effective.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, quick to build trust and productive relationships.
  • Fantastic organizational skills, able to manage people, schedules, and the relevant logistics.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and resilient in the face of inevitable mishaps, obstacles, and setbacks.
  • Based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
