Summary of Position The Customer Data & Product Segmentation Specialist enhances the customer experience by using data to deliver personalized, localized, and engaging product listings. This role manages customer data and uses product information to optimize targeting and conversion Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the specialist tailors recommendations for different customer segments, integrates feedback to improve accuracy, and ensures product details align with regional preferences and promotions.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: - Customer-Centric Data Management:
- Determine or assist in determining how the company collects and processes customer data related to enriching customer information for marketing and promotional strategies through Fortune Marketplace
- Ensure that established processes are followed to create accurate and reliable customer information in Fortune Marketplace
- Analyze data to help identify product recommendations for customer segments based on demographic and transactional data.
- Data Collection & Integration:
- Combine and analyze various data sources, including ERP systems, Fortune Marketplace and external data sources.
- Use customer profiles to support market insights and product recommendations.
- Collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Product Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product to ensure segmentation supports customer-centric marketing strategies for customer segments.
- Assist in the design and execution of A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies across different segments.
- Campaign Optimization & Reporting:
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns targeting specific segments, using KPIs like conversion rates,
- Recommend adjustments to campaigns based on performance data, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to high-value segments.
- Provide post-campaign analysis and detailed reports on segment-level performance to guide future marketing decisions
- Continuously refine customer promotional strategies to align with changing market conditions, customer preferences, and business goals.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience working with product data, customer segmentation, and targeted recommendations, especially in mobile or digital environments.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create concise, engaging product descriptions and specifications.
- Proficiency in using product management tools and digital asset management platforms for managing images and multimedia content.
- Experience with tools like Excel, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, or other data analysis platforms to work with large datasets.
- Ability to collaborate across teams (marketing, product, operations) to align product information and enhance the customer experience.
