As a Therapist, you are an integral part of a patient's journey, to help change their story, and lead to positive outcomes. In this role, you will provide therapeutic treatment services in individual, group and family settings. The Therapist collaborates with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop the plan of care for the patients. The Therapist develops, coordinates, and facilitates all direct social services to patients and their families assigned and performs duties as directed by their manager. The Therapist will work in an acute care setting that includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

- WORK WITH CHILDREN/ADOLESCENTS AND CONDUCT WEEKLY SESSIONS WITH THEIR FAMILIES.
- PARTNER WITH A BEHAVIORAL AND EDUCATIONAL SPECIALIST TO BRING CARE TO A CASELOAD OF 6-8 PATIENTS.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Per program description, this job may include duties of cognitive behavioral therapies in addition to social services.
- Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others.
- Complete all documentation within required time.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions.
- Communicate professionally and accurately.
- Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary approach, facilitating effective communication among departments.
- Support changes in staffing/scheduling when program and patient care needs require.
- Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field, from an accredited school of Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Family Therapy with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care and at least two (2) years in a psychiatric setting, preferred.
- Full, independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in state practicing, i.e. LPCC, LMHC.
- Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior.
- Per program description, this job may include duties of cognitive behavioral therapies in addition to social services.
- American Red Cross Professional Rescue is required within thirty (30) days of date of hire. Biannual re-certification is required.
- Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient (NCI) is required within sixty (60) days of date of hire. Annual re-certification is required.
- Attend all mandatory in-services and other in-services relevant to the position. Be responsible for all educational requirements and related obligations pertaining to the license of the program/unit license regulatory requirements governing the program(s).
SALARY:
Associate Level Therapist (Therapist 1) $56,160 to $69,660 annually, based on number of years of experience and licensure
Fully Licensed Therapist (Therapist 2) $70,200 to $87,750 annually, based on number of years of experience and licensure
