Job Description

Seeking a career-minded, highly-motivated, applicant to join the Calibration Laboratory, LLC team as a Customer Service Representative.

The Customer Service Associate will apply the skills of organization, customer service, and multi-tasking with a technical prowess to deliver quotes, manage customer contacts, and answer customer inquiries.

Summary of Position

The Customer Care Associate plays a fundamental role in customer acquisition and retention by demonstrating excellent customer service-based performance. The Customer Care Associate is primarily responsible for the quoting, maintenance, and customer service aspects of our existing customer base.

Skills and Requirements
  • Preference will be given to individuals with 2+ years of experience with customer service in a manufacturing or other technical sales environment.
  • Excellent customer relation skills heavily focused on phone and email etiquette.
  • Proficiency in the use of software programs of MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn internal proprietary software.
  • Ability to multitask is a must
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • MUST Pass entrance exam (see Application Process below)
Education
  • High School Diploma required
Responsibilities
  • Answers incoming phone calls and transfers calls to the corresponding person
  • Answers and responds to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding calibration quotes.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of calibration in order to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Understanding of business structure in most industries to identify decision makers
  • Generate calibration quotes from client lists using internal software programs
  • Contacts clients for purchasing documents in a timely manner
  • Organized and Task oriented to complete objectives and goals in a timely manner
  • Maintain client account information
  • Updates job knowledge by studying equipment profiles, calibration methods, and participating in technical discussion of the laboratory.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the laboratory's current Scope of Accreditation
Reports To

The Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Quality Manager.
