Join our team as a Customer and Inventory Support Associate, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional shopping experiences for our customers. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for stocking merchandise, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50
Duties and Responsibilities: - Deliver excellent customer service while assisting shoppers.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays, ensuring products are neatly arranged.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the store.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on inventory, product issues, and any discrepancies.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor stock levels for accuracy.
- Uphold cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies regarding security and confidentiality.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
Physical Demands: - Ability to stock merchandise and lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
- Can perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on prompt and courteous interactions.
- Proficient in cash register operations and handling cash efficiently.
- Capability to use equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
- Ability to perform cleaning duties to meet company standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must meet state and local requirements for managing and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing the necessary knowledge is acceptable.
