As a Custodian you will: - Responsible for a wide variety of cleaning and general custodial services.
- Empties trash and removes to outside trash containers; and changes lining in trash containers as needed.
- Within offices, dusts and clean desks, chairs, cabinets, and telephones; cleans windowsills; washes windows on both the inside and outside of building; and dust mops tile floors within offices on a regular basis.
- Thoroughly cleans floors and other furnishings on a regular basis; wet mops tile floors
- Cleans restrooms including emptying of trash, sweeps floor, cleans wash basins and urinals in men's restroom, toilets, walls on bathroom stalls, mirrors and wet mops the floor; replaces soap and paper product supplies in restrooms and sanitizes restroom floors.
- Sweeps and maintains sidewalk areas around facilities.
- Performs daily walk-throughs to identify items that need maintenance such as light bulb replacement, clogged drains, toilets, and other minor repairs.
- Maintains physical and perpetual inventories; monitors level of supplies available and informs supervisor, in writing, when new supplies are required.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Custodian candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: - Previous experience in janitorial/custodial or similar environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay rate: $15.17/hr
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
