As a Culinary Team Member at SSP America, you play a vital role in crafting delicious dishes and contributing to a dynamic kitchen environment. Your passion for cooking and commitment to quality will ensure our guests enjoy their dining experience.

What You Can Expect in This Role:
  • Follow recipes meticulously and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen station to optimize workflow.
  • Requisition and stock necessary food items, paper products, and condiments.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products to guarantee freshness and safety.
  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment.
  • Manage stock levels and storage of perishables to maintain product quality.
  • Complete daily opening, on-going, and closing checklists as necessary.
  • Take pride in the quality of products served.
  • Execute cleaning tasks as assigned to meet health and safety standards.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • One year of experience in a line cooking role within a food service setting.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English to effectively interact with guests and manage orders.
  • Basic mathematical skills for portion control and inventory management.
  • Capacity to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
