Responsibilities: - Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and making salads.
- Serve meals to residents based on dietary requirements and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and be active for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required as per state/county law.
- Residency within the service area is required.
