Are you ready to embrace the mountains while sharpening your culinary skills? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Culinary Supervisor for the summer season at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia.

Position Details:
  • Pay: $17.00 per hour
  • Work Location: 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209
  • Season: Seasonal position available from Late May to October
  • Start Date: Mid-May
  • Working Hours: Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster positive relationships across departments.
  • Oversee food preparation and manage kitchen staff.
  • Contribute to menu development and implementation.
  • Plan and manage special events in coordination with F&B leadership.
  • Train and mentor kitchen employees.
  • Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Address guest feedback and manage kitchen resources.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations and adherence to standards.
  • Promote environmental sustainability practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in a supervisory culinary role.
  • Experience in kitchen team development.
  • Knowledge of food cost management principles.
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Customer-focused and resilient approach.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Food hygiene certification preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient knife skills.
  • Experience in resort settings is a plus.
