Join our team as a Culinary Station Supervisor, where you will play a key role in food service and meal preparation, ensuring the highest quality standards and sanitation practices are maintained. We are located in Boone, NC.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the dietary coordinator to develop and implement patient menus.
- Provide weekly menu options for PCU staff and patients.
- Prepare and serve patient meals in alignment with dietary preferences and special diets.
- Maintain food at required temperatures while adhering to federal and state regulations.
- Deliver patient meals punctually according to established policies and procedures.
- Ensure nourishment areas are stocked with adequate meal options for after-hours service.
- Document and monitor required food service logs accurately.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in optimal working condition and cleanliness.
- Work cooperatively with regulatory agencies and auditors.
- Transport meals to other departments as necessary.
- Manage food and supply inventory based on patient needs and menus.
- Inspect food service deliveries for quality and accuracy.
- Plan and execute special catering requests as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: Preferred background in healthcare food service.
- Licensure & Certifications: ServSafe certification is required within 6 months.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk, stand, sit, drive, and have manual dexterity for writing and typing.
- Capability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include near and distance vision with focus adjustment.
Special Requirements: - Must possess a vehicle with insurance coverage and a valid state driver's license.
