POSITION SUMMARY If you have a passion for culinary artistry, join our team as a Culinary Specialist III where you will play a critical role in crafting unforgettable dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients for delectable dishes.
- Following recipes and quality standards to prepare and cook meals, including cold foods.
- Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers with efficiency.
- Testing food to ensure perfect cooking and optimal taste.
- Setting up and breaking down your workstation to maintain cleanliness.
- Serving food in appropriate portions with attention to detail and presentation.
- Washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Complying with all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Reporting maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance while respecting guest confidentiality.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues.
- Building positive relationships within the team to achieve common goals.
- Continuously monitoring food quality while preparing dishes.
- Performing physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a comparable role.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
License or Certification: None needed.
