Overview:
Join our excellent Culinary Services team as a Culinary Services Supervisor. Manage the activities of Culinary Services Team Members to provide exceptional customer service and food quality to our Residents and Guests in a variety of dining settings. The Culinary Services Supervisor will primarily be working/overseeing the Front of The House Team Members (students) and interacting with the Residents.

From $20.00/hr + based on experience
Responsibilities:
Provides supervision and leadership support in Culinary Services operations, responsibilities include dining room, dish-room and kitchen oversight.
Ensure prompt courteous food service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
Coordinate the activities and work assignments of Team Members, and has a working knowledge to be able to fill in to cover shifts as needed.
Addresses and follows up on the concerns of Residents and handles complaints.
May be responsible for the coordination and planning of Special Functions, in addition to the normal daily operations.
Oversees and enforces all Culinary Services policies and procedure, and makes recommendations for procedural changes.
Maintain records of meal counts, charges, daily report of activities and daily food safety systems.
Schedule assigned Team Members in accordance to the budget, to meet the needs of the operation and the Team Members, and maintains time keeping records.
Inspect dining rooms and serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Requisitions table lines and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
Conducts Team Meetings and is responsible for communicating appropriate information.
Conduct training for Team Members to ensure Willow Valley standards are met.
Follows Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Utilizes computer programs to complete daily reports and communications.
May be assigned purchasing responsibilities which requires the purchasing of food and supplies using generally accepted purchasing procedures and oversight of inventory taking, data entry, receiving and storage procedures.
Interviews, hires, orients and trains Team Members; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplins Team Members; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

40 hrs/week
Schedule:
Varied evening shifts
Every other weekend and every other holiday
