Key Responsibilities - Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
- Serve meals to residents based on dietary needs and appropriate portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Engage with residents, staff, and guests positively, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a food service or kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow instructions and collaborate as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate effectively with all team members and residents.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; capable of standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
- Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning chemicals.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on local regulations.
- Must reside within the service area.
