The Culinary Assistant is responsible for preparing the breakfast special Monday-Friday. This position serves breakfast in Remedies Cafe and runs the point of sale system. This position serves lunch in Remedies Cafe and stocks Remedies Cafe during the breakfast and lunch service. The Culinary Assistant washes breakfast dishes, fills fountain soda machine ice and breakdown breakfast serving line. This position inventories condiments needed for Remedies Cafe. This position may help with patient meal service if needed. The Culinary Assistant will provide service and interact with patients/customers of all ages. Assists with care and cleanliness of equipment. This position assist with putting away cafeteria and kitchen stock.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, every other weekend. Hours: 4:30 am - 1:00 pm

Requirements:
  • High School Graduate preferred.
  • Previous training and/or experience in quantity food preparation in an institutional setting preferred.
  • Have sanitation certificate or willing to obtain.
  • May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
