Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist:
Perform Diagnostic Scans: Conduct CT scans as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images.
Patient Positioning: Properly position patients for comfort and accuracy, explaining procedures to alleviate anxiety.
Administer Contrast Materials: Safely administer contrast agents and follow protocols when necessary.
Monitor Patient Vital Signs: Track and respond to patient vitals during scans, ready to act in emergencies.
Evaluate Image Quality: Assess images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting malfunctions to appropriate departments.
Collaborate with Medical Teams: Work with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnoses and treatment plans.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including protocols, dosage, and adverse reactions.
Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Stay Current: Continuously seek professional development and stay updated on advancements in CT technology.

Requirements of the CT Technologist:
BLS Certification (required)
ARRT Certification (required)
2+ years of CT Technologist experience in a clinical setting
