Job Overview
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join their healthcare team for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CT Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering precise diagnostic evaluations.
Duties
Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in accordance with medical protocols.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Requirements
certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred NOT required
CA CRT required
2 years of experience required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $3,300.00 - $3,539.00 per week
