CT Technologist - Outpatient Imaging
Location: Boca Raton, FL

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Type of Contract: Permanent
Pay Rate: $35.63 -$ 46.32 Per hour.
Description:
The CT Technologist will be responsible for conducting high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CT imaging, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes while maintaining a patient-centered approach. The CT Technologist will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care, contributing to continuous quality improvement efforts within the department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform CT scans for patients of all age groups while ensuring high image quality.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain advanced CT imaging equipment in compliance with safety standards.
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and medical teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging results.
Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous education programs to stay updated with advancements in CT technology.
Maintain excellent customer service standards to enhance patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required).
Certified Radiologic Technologist (required).
ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography (required).
ARRT Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (required).
Experience:
6 months preferred in an acute care or outpatient imaging setting.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in radiation safety procedures and CT imaging protocols.
Ability to use advanced CT imaging systems effectively.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
