CT Tech Trainee Position Summary



The CT Tech Trainee is responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of computed tomography (CT) scanners while gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed CT Technologists. The trainee will develop the technical skills and knowledge necessary to perform diagnostic CT imaging and ensure patient safety.



CT Tech Position Requirements



    • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).

    • Working in Maryland: Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.

    • Working in Delaware: Must maintain Delaware State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Delaware and must follow all regulations per those regulations.

    • BLS certification required


Education



    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    • 2-year degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program is required.


Experience



    • Entry level.


CT Tech Trainee Benefits
