Responsible for pulmonary care of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician direction with minimal supervision. Performs technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, patient assessments, and develops respiratory care plans.
Responds to emergency situations (Code Blue and White). Manages airways, delivers aerosolized drugs, and operates ventilators. Conducts patient assessments, including blood gas analysis and EKG analysis. Maintains equipment and participates in surveys. Advanced skills may include therapeutic gas management and pulmonary function testing. Requirements: RCP License, BLS, CRT certification, and 2-3 years of experience preferred. Current ACLS certification required. Full-time, 3 days a week, 12-hour shifts.
