A profitable and progressive family owned company in business for more than 50 years is looking to expand into new geographical territory in Central CA. They are seeking two experienced Crop Advisors/Sales Agronomists who will be expected to scout acres and give customers a report of the results with any needed recommendations. This position requires extensive knowledge of row crops, citrus, almonds, cotton, corn and other crops that grow throughout the Central San Juaquin Valley.
Scout and Cropping Employee Functions:
• Responsible for fertilizer, and chemical recommendations
• Scouting and providing general agronomic consultation
• Researching plots
• Scouting and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
4-year degree in agronomy: plant/science related
3 to 5 years of sales experience
Strong knowledge in crops, fertilizer and chemicals
Candidates with an existing book of business will be prioritized.
