About the clinician's workday
This position requires expertise in general anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, neurosurgical (cranial and spine), pediatrics, trauma, and OB cases. Regional anesthesia skills are also needed, including epidural, spinal, interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, femoral/adductor canal, popliteal, sciatic, ankle, and TAP blocks. Additional anesthesia skills include central line placement and management, PA catheter, arterial line placement and management, TEE placement and management, and ultrasound for regional blocks and line placement. Pain and ventilation management are also required. CRNAs must be able to work independently and confidently, as all providers act autonomously with minimal supervision or medical direction.
