Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, The Bar Method, Basecamp Fitness, and Stronger U is seeking a CRM/Email Marketing Manager to join its team. Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)
  • Build strategy and drive execution of nurture, engagement and retention programs across multiple channels; primarily email, sms, and club/studio operating systems
  • Craft automated workflows from scratch around various segments and business goals
  • Use of CRM/ESPs tools (ie- Iterable, BrandBot/Xplor, Zenoti, Mailchimp) to support requirements for advanced nurture programs that accelerate revenue opportunities through the sales and marketing funnels
  • Manage all email list generation activities and oversee the health of each list and integration points
  • Manage campaign calendar and align CRM messaging with seasonal, promotional, and brand marketing initiative
  • Supports weekly and monthly CRM performance reporting, own CRM channel performance metrics (e.g., open rates, CTRs, conversion, retention) and proactively optimize campaigns based on results.
  • Self-learner who takes pride in being up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, marketing automation and measurement
  • Educate and support franchisees with best practices to improve brand awareness, lead generation, and member retention
  • May lead or mentor CRM team members and manage agency/vendor partnerships for campaign support.
Strengths & Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or similar
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation & testing strategies
  • Past experience must include practical, hands-on experience in an ESP, CRM or marketing/sales automation tools
  • Demonstrates knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR and email best practices
  • Familiarity with an inbox placement solution, e.g., Litmus, to improve email deliverability and increase email marketing ROI
  • Technical knowledge - deep technical knowledge of marketing operations, marketing automation, data flows/architecture and campaign execution
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a sense of humor
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible team player with the ability to work in a cross-department environment
Preferred Strengths and Background
  • Experience with a variety of Email Service Providers (ex- Iterable, BrandBot/Xplor, Zenoti, MailChimp)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Technical aptitude with ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Familiarity with email and web analytics/reporting tools

  • Experience taking traditional marketing pieces and digitizing them
  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision; results driven
  • Demonstrates decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
Salary Range: $110k - $120k
