The Critical Facility Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all required work and by attaining the utmost in customer satisfaction. In this role you will work, both independently and with a team, to complete all preventative maintenance, service, and repair on Data Center critical facility infrastructure equipment. Responsibilities:
• Assist the Critical Facility Technician with testing and making rounds
• Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rule and safety procedures
• Communicate and adhere to applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations
• Operate standard office equipment using basic computer skills
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for daily communication and reports
• Perform physical counts of inventory on job sites and at facilities
• Ensure inventory is stored properly for inventory type (ex: sensitive electronics are temperature controlled)
• Assist with the daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of customer facilities in support of data center(s) and office operations
• Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment
• Assist with scheduling of preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns
• Ensure Critical Facilities Technician, Contract Manager and/or Customer receive timely verbal and written operating reports regarding critical systems and ongoing preventative maintenance
