We are seeking an experienced critical care Advanced Practice Professional (APP) for a critical care cardiac ICU unit. Candidates must have expertise in managing VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients. The APP will manage high-visibility intensive cardiac care unit patients under the guidance of an Intensivist through duties such as daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, postoperative management, and performing procedures like arterial lines, central lines, Swan Ganz catheter, and IABP removal.
- Shifts: Three 13-hour shifts per week
- Shift Times: 7am - 8pm or 7pm - 8am
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 8-12
- Board Certification Required
- Nearest Airport: Harrisburg International
- Trauma Level at Facility: Level 1

- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Please note that the credentialing timeframe is estimated to be 60-90 days. No International Medical License Compact (IMLC) bids are allowed. Facility does not require additional certifications such as ABLS, ATLS, or PALS. Facility PEDs Level is 0.
