Credit Controller Temporary to Permanent Location: Droitwich
Contract: 3-Month Temp (with view to permanent)
Salary: £25,000-£27,000
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established business who are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to support their finance operations during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a short-term role, with the potential to become a long-term member of the team.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in managing the company s accounts receivable, ensuring a smooth cash flow process and assisting with general finance and office administration tasks. This will be a full time position based at their office in Droitwich.
Key Responsibilities: - Managing the credit control function, including proactive chasing of outstanding payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Posting sales invoices accurately and within deadlines.
- Allocating incoming payments and maintaining up-to-date customer accounts.
- Producing aged debt reports and assisting with cash flow forecasting.
- Escalating problematic accounts where required (e.g. legal action or debt recovery).
- Creating and maintaining customer and supplier accounts in the finance system.
- Liaising with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to resolve queries.
- Assisting with general administrative support across the office when needed, including phone and email enquiries.
- Preparing and distributing customer statements.
What We re Looking For: - Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or general finance admin.
- A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
Qualifications: - AAT Level 2 (or equivalent practical experience) is highly desirable.
