As a Credit Analyst, employee will be trained on areas pertinent to the Credit Department including but not necessarily limited to the review and analysis of loan requests, whether new, renewal or review. The Analyst is expected to learn all types of requests including:
Commercial real estate, corporate lending, institutional lending, etc.
Work with other Credit Analysts as needed on loan requests that are assigned.
Participate in training opportunities as delegated including webinars, conferences, in-house training or other training sessions.
Responsible for processing any required annual reviews for existing loans once the Bank has been provided with updated financial information.
Ensure that any negative findings are reported to the Senior Domestic Credit Officer or the Senior International Credit Officer.
Work with Senior Credit Officers to ensure risk gradings are updated as needed on applicable loans.

Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank's policies and procedures related to its Lending Programs
Safe and sound underwriting processes
Foster loan growth
Monitor the Bank's domestic loan portfolio
Community involvement
Assist other divisions with reporting needs or other functions when available
Other tasks as assignment by management
Education and Experience: Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar with an advanced degree preferred along with a minimum of 5 years in credit analysis roles with financial institutions and corporates.
Language Skills: Excellent Written/Verbal skills in both English/Spanish. Working knowledge of Portuguese is preferred, however, not required.
