Job Description:
A Family Real Estate Management & Development Company is seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant / Bookkeeper. Any prior experience in real estate management, finance and/or accounting is highly beneficial.
Responsibilities will include:
Bookkeeping Skills (Posting transactions in QB, Monthly Bank and Credit Card reconciliations)
Organization Skills (Maintain Databases - physically and online)
Generating financials reports in QB and Excel
Tracking/Maintaining of Mortgage Notes
Knowledge of NY local laws pertaining to proper maintenance of commercial properties is highly valued & required
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Excellent Time Management Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Russian is a plus although not required
The ideal candidate should demonstrate keen attention to detail, complete tasks quickly and efficiently. Must be driven to contribute to the success of the company and its projects. Must have strong communication skills as well as QuickBooks, Microsoft & Google Suite proficiency. Previous experience within the Real Estate industry is not a must however a strong understanding of numbers is needed.
Salary: TBD on qualifications
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
