About the Role
Our client is hiring a Rigger to support a pipe rack construction project in Lebanon, IN. This on-site role will focus on designing and implementing rigging and lifting plans while collaborating with construction teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Industrial Project Experience - Work on a high-profile pipe rack construction project.
- Hands-On Engineering - Design, analyze, and execute safe lifting solutions.
- Collaborative Environment - Engage with construction personnel, clients, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifting Plan Development - Design and implement detailed rigging and crane lift plans for piping, equipment, structural steel, and modular assemblies.
- Crane Capacity Analysis - Assess crane load limits under various rigging configurations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Technical Documentation - Create sketches, diagrams, and drawings for pick layouts.
- Load Calculations - Determine weights and center of gravity for steel assemblies, piping spools, and pipe rack modules.
- Safety & Compliance - Develop safety plans for lifts and ensure adherence to client and national safety regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination - Work with client rigging engineers and site supervisors to secure lift plan approvals.
- Scheduling Support - Collaborate with construction superintendents to plan and schedule crane picks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred, but not required).
- 3+ years of experience in rigging design and crane lift analysis, preferably on industrial projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel required).
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with a team-oriented approach.
- NCCCO Lift Director Certification (a plus, but not required).
