Job Summary
- Pharmacists completing a pharmacy residency at CoxHealth will become leaders with a commitment to the pharmacy profession. As members of a multidisciplinary health care team working to achieve CoxHealth s mission statement, residents learn accountability for utilizing evidence based medicine, conducting medication reviews, and managing disease states. In addition, they will provide health-care education to providers, patients, and community members. Residents gain project management skills through team leading and committee participation. Additionally, residents must complete a formal resident project designed to implement or improve a medication-related program.

- Graduation from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Experience
- Skills
- Individual would spend approximately 75% of the time with patient-centered responsibilities throughout the health system based upon the individual learning experience, and 25% completing committee and special project responsibilities.
- Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, other computer systems software, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment as necessary.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist or eligible for registration and licensure within 90 days of hire
- Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
- Required: Medication Therapy Services certification through the Board of Pharmacy in the State of Missouri within 90 days of hire
- Required: ACLS within 90 days of hire
- Required: BLS within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: Immunization delivery certification
