Job Summary - The Office Coordinator I is responsible for receiving and sending referrals, compiling outside patient records, scheduling patient appointments, screening and properly directing calls coming into the department. Knowledgeable of oncology specific documents needed for a consulting physician prior to patient appointment. Understands the structure and function of supporting departments utilized by oncology program. The Office Coordinator I is also responsible for assisting with prior authorizations of patient treatments, procedures or imaging studies
Job Requirements - Education
