Are you passionate about excellence in nursing and ready to lead CoxHealth's Magnet designation? We're looking for a visionary Magnet Program Director to spearhead our journey in nursing excellence and serve as a strategic partner to our Chief Nursing Officer.
What You'll Do:
As our Magnet Program Director, you ll be the driving force behind our Magnet designation efforts. You ll lead, plan, and coordinate all aspects of our Magnet journey maintaining our alignment in nursing practice with ANCC standards and elevating professional practice across the organization. You'll also collaborate on key initiatives and special projects in support of nursing administration and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Magnet designation and re-designation process from planning to submission and site visit preparation
- Serve as a liaison to internal teams, nursing leaders, and Magnet advisors
- Analyze and interpret nursing quality data to align with Magnet standards
- Promote a culture of excellence, shared governance, and continuous improvement
- Support CNO-led strategic initiatives and projects as needed
Job Requirements Education - Required: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- Preferred: Master's Degree in a related field
Experience - Required: 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Preferred: Previous unit or department nursing or project leadership experience
Skills - Maintains a liaison with other department leaders to adequately plan for activities.
- Must be able to cope with the workload of the position with the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Energetic and ability to multi-task.
- Communicate and work with variety of team members including physicians, staff, and participants.
- Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once.
- Computer skills, to include: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office programs.
Licensure/Certification/Registration - Required: RN License active in the state of Missouri
