Cover Supervisor

Our client is looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to work on day to day supply at their vibrant school where they are committed to providing high quality education and promote a supportive learning environment.

As a cover supervisor you will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of the teacher. You will ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher and maintain a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a classroom of students
Deliver pre prepared lessons and ensure students complete the assigned work
Maintain discipline and follow the schools behaviour management policies
Provide support and assistance to students as needed
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a classroom effectively
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable
A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
