Amentum is currently seeking a Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor in Hanover, MD, to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. The Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary Team delivering highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our customers. Responsibilities: The Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor's main function is to ensure the administration of high-stakes examinations. While proctoring high-stakes exams, the Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor enforces time limits, compliance to policy and procedures, and reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations. The Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor assists students with any administrative questions or issues they may have, proctors high-stakes exams, and is a liaison between the students, staff, and the customer. The Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor creates daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, and on the spot reports for the customer. The Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the student experience, which includes, but is not limited to: addressing student concerns, tracking student progress, analyzing student data, monitoring high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity and updating and maintaining course-related documentation. This Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor provides Instructional Systems Design (ISD) support for maintaining and improving web-based and instructor-led cyber training. This includes providing ISD expertise for developing and updating course content, exercises, exams, resources, and other documentation as needed. A qualified candidate must possess excellent speaking, presentation, and writing skills. A qualified candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with other members of the team and prioritize tasks under strict deadlines. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. There may be an option for some limited telework. Requirements: Course Coordinator/Exam Proctor must be able to successfully demonstrate the following capabilities: Provide first-line non-technical support for students attending locally and at remote sites Proctor high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity Monitor student progress - document, track, analyze data, and create reports for the customer Maintain detailed administrative records of student data Reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations Prepares proctor's report Develop and maintain non-technical course content using ISD best practices Collaborate with Facilitators, Testing Specialists, Content Developers, Infrastructure Support, and other team members as applicable to ensure accuracy of learning content, to update course content, and to address student-specific issues Ability to create and edit all retired course reports (to include daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-year-course, course readiness, progress, exam, and final reports) Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoints, and Visio etc. Experience with Confluence and Jira is desired Ability to roster students to new courses and set up required student accesses Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Military experience is desired (but not required) Clearance Required: Must be Clearable (TS/SCI with Poly is desired but not required) Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Communications, a technical discipline, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of work experience (for a total of six (6) years of experience) can be substituted for the degree requirement Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum two years of work experience related to designing, developing, and/or supporting/delivering training various types of training Pay Transparency Verbiage Amentum's health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
