About the Role


This is a pivotal executive role responsible for driving the performance and growth of the company's U.S. operations. As Country Manager, you'll oversee nationwide activity across multiple branches and functions-owning strategy, execution, and financial results. The role blends commercial leadership with operational control and is ideal for a senior freight professional with a hands-on approach to scaling teams and delivering market expansion. The position requires regular domestic travel and is based in either Charlotte, NC or Miami, FL.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee end-to-end U.S. operations, spanning multiple locations and departments
  • Shape and implement growth strategies tailored to the U.S. freight market
  • Manage full P&L for U.S. operations and ensure financial accountability
  • Recruit, lead, and align cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and admin
  • Maintain service consistency and elevate customer satisfaction across all branches
  • Serve as the primary interface with global leadership, ensuring strategic alignment

Candidate Requirements


  • 10+ years in senior roles within freight forwarding or third-party logistics
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-branch or regional operations
  • Deep knowledge of international shipping, particularly air and ocean freight
  • Strong grasp of NVOCC regulations and U.S. trade dynamics
  • Hands-on leader with a strategic mindset and commercial drive
  • Must be based in Charlotte, NC or Miami, FL, and open to frequent travel
