We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Country Manager and Director to lead Bitpace's growth and operations in Canada and to scale up to a more dominant position in the Canadian market. This pivotal role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring high levels of compliance, and driving the business toward ambitious growth targets.


The Country Manager and Director will lead with a strategic mindset and focus on operational efficiency and expansion. You will report directly to the CEO.



What you'll be doing:


Leadership & Strategy Development:

  • Shape and execute the long-term strategy for Canada with a focus on growth and revenue generation.
  • Provide leadership across all departments, fostering strong collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure alignment of operations and initiatives with business goals, working closely with the CEO.

Operational Oversight & Growth:

  • Oversee operations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent quality in services
  • Develop and implement strategies for increasing revenue , with quarterly reviews of performance
  • Drive business development initiatives and work closely with marketing and sales teams to expand the client base.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure total compliance with employment law, financial regulations, MSB and company policies.
  • Manage risk and governance, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of operational compliance.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Act as the primary representative of the company when engaging with regulatory bodies, and key business partners.

Experience we'd love:


  • Proven experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager or senior executive within Fintech
  • Must have experience with MSB (Money Services Business) in Canada and understand the regulatory requirements that it entails
  • Experience with crypto or demonstrable willingness to explore crypto
  • Demonstrated track record of growing businesses, meeting revenue targets, and expanding operations both in Canada and internationally.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building, mentorship, and performance management
  • Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial forecasting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
