Counter Staff - Flour Back Bay - Clarendon - 131 Clarendon Street, Boston MA

Do you like to eat award-winning baked goods and sandwiches?

Do you like working on a great team in a wonderful environment?

If so, we have the opportunity for you. Flour Bakery + Cafe is looking for exceptional counter staff for full and part time positions.

You'll be greeting and helping guests, putting pastry orders together, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, taking catering orders, potentially helping prepare sandwiches, and more - all while displaying an amazing sense of hospitality to our guests.

We are currently looking for candidates with closing availability (8pmish on M-F, and 7pmish on Sat and Sun)

Day-to-day Performance Expectations:

We ask at that you have availability for at least 3-4 shifts a week.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, hard working, possess strong guest service skills, eager to learn, and be able to work in a professional kitchen environment.

We are seeking self-motivated employees who work well in a fun, positive, fast-paced team environment with possibilities for advancement.

Previous bakery/cafe counter staff, barista, other restaurant front of house, or prep cook experience is helpful, but not mandatory.

Skills for Qualification:

We ask for a minimum commitment of six months for FOH employees, unfortunately, we do not offer seasonal or temporary work.

Compensation:

Average compensation of $20-$24 per hour (base wage of $15 + $5-9 per hour in pooled tips).
