Our Client is a developer, manufacturer and provider of health and wellness products.

Summary:

The Cost Accounting Manager will report directly to the Global VP of Finance and be the go-to finance professional for all things cost accounting, standard costing, helping to build and scale inventory and ERP systems as the firm launches new products and continues growing. Think of yourself as the bridge between Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing bringing insights, strategy, and impact to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimize cost accounting processes from raw materials to finished goods.

  • Be a key player in ERP implementation and set the foundation for scalable inventory + cost tracking.

  • Partner closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to keep cost data sharp and strategic.

  • Lead standard cost roll-ups, analyze gross margins, and support commercial readiness for new launches.

  • Create dashboards, reports, and scorecards that make it easy to track and improve performance.

  • Dive into monthly close processes, PPV analysis, productivity metrics and inventory forecasting.

  • Always be on the lookout for cost-saving opportunities and ways to improve how we operate.

  • Be a mentor and coach to junior team members (and be open to growing your own skills, too.).


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or something similar

  • 3+ years of cost accounting or operations finance experience (bonus points for leadership experience in a large company or public accounting)

  • You know your way around ERP systems and thrive in manufacturing or inventory-heavy environments.

  • Strong analytical skills, great communication skills and a proactive mindset.

  • Must be strong with Standard Costing, doesn't matter what type of MFG background you have, but Consumer Packaged Goods is a plus.

  • Need to be hands-on, ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help take the firm to the next level.
