Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis & Tracking
Monitor and analyze production costs across materials, labor, and overhead
Maintain accurate cost accounting systems and perform regular variance analyses
Investigate discrepancies between standard and actual costs to support continuous improvement
Inventory Oversight
Manage accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Lead inventory counts, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate valuation
Work with production teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess
Reporting & Financial Support
Prepare cost reports, COGS analysis, and profitability reviews
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close related to manufacturing costs
Budgeting & Forecasting
Process Improvement & Compliance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, procurement, and production to understand cost drivers
Deliver clear financial insights to help improve efficiency and cost control
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing setting
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports, Workfront) and MS Office
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
