Job DetailsMonthly Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end closing for cost accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Reconcile consignment inventory discrepancies with suppliers and ERP data.
Lead Excess & Obsolete review meetings, analyze inventory risks, and record reserves.
Review and address cycle count adjustments and inventory discrepancies.
Conduct warranty accrual and inventory turnover analysis.
Analyze work-in-process (WIP) and resolve outstanding issues.
Assess tariffs, freight, duties, and book appropriate reserves.
Analyze manufacturing variances and post necessary adjustments.
Manage and maintain the standard cost system.
Review and approve Product Change Requests.
Provide weekly material variance outlooks.
Monitor cost fluctuations from BOM updates.
Evaluate cost absorption risks/opportunities by product line.
Reconcile inventories and cost of sales accounts.
Quarterly Responsibilities:
Analyze inventory for lower of cost and net realizable value (NRV) and make adjustments.
