Cost Accountant (40974)
Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for a Cost Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience, high attention to detail and highly organized.
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile vendor and customer claims.
- Prepare, distribute and answer questions on pricing models.
- Review material variances and gross margin reporting.
- Assist in monthly closing process, prepare journal entries, analyze inventory and reconcile accounts.
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
- Provide financial analysis as requested.
- Support and assist internal department reporting as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
The Cost Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field required
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Well organized and detail orientated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
