Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Lead: Manage and lead the 3rd shift corrugator team, including operators and support staff. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Production Management: Oversee the corrugator machine operations to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues with the corrugator machine. Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate production and quality records. Prepare shift reports and communicate any issues or improvements to the management team.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in corrugation or packaging.
- Strong knowledge of corrugator machine operations and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
