Provide technical leadership, program oversight, and subject matter expertise in cathodic protection (CP), coating systems, and corrosion risk mitigation across geographically distributed facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all cathodic protection survey activities performed by third-party contractors at terminal facilities, from contractor selection and cost estimation to data evaluation and repair recommendations.
- Provide technical supervision and mentorship for regional Corrosion Technicians supporting pipeline systems in the Southeast and Central regions.
- Interpret complex CP data, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver data-driven repair scopes that align with compliance and asset integrity goals.
- Support the Integrity Management (IM) Program by analyzing CP data, determining corrosion growth rates, and reviewing inline inspection (ILI) and field dig results.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and asset reliability during aboveground storage tank inspections, offering CP guidance and on-site support as needed.
- Maintain and optimize the cathodic protection data management system (PCS software)-including uploading survey results, editing test point routes, generating reports, and managing rectifier data reviews.
