Corporate Tax Accountant - Bath (Full or Part Time)

With over 40 years of experience supporting clients across the Bath and Bristol area, this small but dedicated team is offering a rare opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant to join their close-knit firm.
The role involves a blend of corporate tax responsibilities and accounts preparation for limited companies, offering you the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, build lasting relationships, and take real ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit company accounts, corporation tax returns, and tax computations
- Conduct company secretarial work and compliance, including:
- Company incorporations with Companies House
- Submission of CS01, DS01, CT61, and ATED returns
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant authorities
- Confidently use platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Hubdoc
Skills & Experience:
- ATT or AAT qualified, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of corporate tax and general accountancy experience
- Solid knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and deadlines
