Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Director, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for securing sponsorships for all organizational events, programs, and initiatives. This includes high-profile events like an annual festival, celebrity panels, galas, exhibits, and industry programs.

Description
Research and identify key categories and companies to target for event sponsorship.
Communicate the organization's mission and programs to attract and secure corporate sponsorships and memberships.
Develop creative sponsorship and marketing presentations in collaboration with various teams.
Lead face-to-face meetings with potential sponsors, build relationships, and close deals.
Negotiate contracts and ensure successful implementation of sponsorship benefits with high standards of client service.
Cultivate and manage corporate memberships, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring renewals.
Use AI-driven insights to tailor sponsorship proposals and identify industry trends.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and report on progress regularly to leadership.
Work with IT and CRM systems to optimize outreach and follow-up strategies.
Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to recruit sponsors.
Create and implement new initiatives to engage corporate sponsors and members.
Participate in social media activities to amplify the organization's outreach.
Take on other projects as assigned by the executive team.

In-depth understanding of event marketing and the sponsorship activation process.
Ability to craft creative, strategic proposals that align with corporate goals.
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM systems, with familiarity with Airtable or Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed for events.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
