Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP is looking for a skilled Corporate/Real Estate/Banking Paralegal to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial real estate and corporate transactional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze title reports and surveys
- Order and evaluate due diligence materials
- Conduct UCC, corporate, and real estate-related searches
- Assist with entity formation and maintenance
- Prepare and organize loan documents, closing checklists, HUDs, closing statements
- Support change of ownership transactions, complex real estate and ABL matters
- Handle post-closing matters
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions
- Proficiency in title review, due diligence, and credit agreement collateral filings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail
- Proficiency with legal software, document management tools and overall computer skills
- Experience working with bank and non-bank lenders
- Familiarity with SBA, 504 and 7(a), USDA, FHA, HUD and EDA transactions is a plus
- Understanding Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs") of regulatory authorities
